DESCRIPTION:As part of Faith and Action’s post-prison ministry\, transitional employment and mentoring is provided through the process of cutting\, splitting\, and packaging firewood.  Working alongside godly volunteers\, men are taught job and life skills\, responsibility\, and work ethic.  Extra help is always needed with splitting and wrapping wood and we would greatly appreciate your assistance!  The woodlot is located in Crete\, IL.  Upon signing up at faithandaction.jodi@gmail.com\, you will receive an email with directions and a waiver that needs to be completed in advance of volunteering.
